California Women’s Collective
The California Women’s Collective was started by a group of women at Ruby’s Place a non-profit that helps victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and violent crime. Those women wanted to fight for women's rights and autonomy over their own body.
Our vision is a world where women are treated as equal human beings with protected fundamental rights, body autonomy, choice, access to healthcare, and equal pay.
Objectives
Remove barriers that prevent women from access to resources, care, knowledge, and health
Uncover systematic gaps that contribute to women's inequality and to advocate for fixing those gaps.
Research and vet resources
Provide access to resources
Partner with change-makers and organizations to influence policy
Bring legislation to the forefront and advocate for legislation that supports women's rights and autonomy
